Beth has an amazing smile!
Beth is so damned lovely & fit she's overwhelmed with her own happiness.
Very useful info. Now does the body give back panel focus info (the focus box) when used with Canon manual focus TS lenses focused by hand? This would be helpful for me to know for landscape work.
Great review!
Could you testing eye AF on the Sony A7RIII with Canon L series lenses with the Sigma MC 11 adapter? Thanks!
Thx a lot, very useful! Was metabones in green mode? I didnt think green gave you eye af….
does having an adaptor create a crop effect?
Really should have posted images to show focus, instead of just going by green lock-on.
Great! Thanks so much. Any one know if the Canon 35mm L 1.4 (version 1) works as well as the version 2 with this combi? It is my favourite piece of glass of ALL time and I have missed it since moving to Sony. The Sony Distagon 35mm 1.4 has not won me over at all.
I am trying not to hit poverty by not pulling myself into sony but this video just showed why sony is worth every penny
I had a terrible time using the 70-200 canon with the sigma mc-11 adapter. After a few shots it would my focus whatsoever and I would have to put the lens in manual focus and then back to auto focus and then it would work for a few shots and then I would repeat the process. I wonder what’s going on and if the adapter just needs an update or something
Nice info. But how do those lenses focus with video? I've seen some other reviews where Canon lenses can't autofocus (at least not effectively enough) on the A7RIII for video. Have you happened to have tried?
She is a Cutie.
ok we have the green square on the monitor but can you confirm the photos are focused right on the eye? i mean on monitor while editing the, in LR o PS o C1P or whatelse! thank you!
A7R3 TEST found a problem, the camera automatically restarts when the continuous shooting 72 (that is, the input limit) in silent mode 72. The first round of the 72 is usually normal, but when the buffer next to that reply, and then 72 To the limit, the problem appeared R3 automatically restart, usually appears in three consecutive 72 continuous shooting when the problem is the memory problem? Or other reasons?
this really helps for the ppl with a lot canon glas and considering getting a sony body. Do you have any canon mount sigma art lens to compare as well?
wow that was a game changer for me
So now canon's making lenses for Sony..
Do you have any test of autofocus for video? Thanks!
Hi, interesting video. There has been some positive action with the adapters. my question: I have some L Canon lenses and doubt that the autofocus in the outdoor area (sports, animals) works as well as in the video.
I also have the 70-200 2.8 II among others.
Can I be doubtful?
Just got this camera. Have you go try my canon 50mm 1.4 and tamron 70 200mm g2
Thank you so much for performing and posting these tests. I’ve been searching for exactly this review for a few days and couldn’t find what I was looking for until this popped up on fstoppers. I’ve given up on Canon bodies, but, like many, I have a bunch of great glass. Not going to waste years of my life waiting to see if they make a D850/a7RIII equivalent in 2021 while the rest of the industry is innovating like crazy. Now I know I can use Sony bodies going forward. This video was exactly what I needed. Thank you for the time and effort you put into this.
Do you own, and have you attempted this with the Sigma adapter?
Will this also work on the a9 with the Metabones Mark IV adapter?
